Edward Goodier (15 October 1902 – 4 November 1967) was an English professional footballer and football manager. Born in Farnworth, Lancashire, he played as a wing half for Huddersfield Town, Lancaster Town, Oldham Athletic, Queens Park Rangers, Watford, Crewe Alexandra and Rochdale.{{cite book |first=Michael |last=Joyce |title=Football League Players' Records 1888 to 1939 |publisher=SoccerData |location=Nottingham |date=2004 |page=102 |isbn=978-1-899468-67-6}} He was appointed player-manager at Rochdale in 1938, and continued in that capacity during the Second World War{{cite book |first=Tony |last=Matthews |title=Birmingham City: A Complete Record |date=1995 |publisher=Breedon Books |location=Derby |page=61 |isbn=978-1-85983-010-9}} until appointed team manager of Birmingham in August 1943.
