|comments = Article is new and long enough, and is impressively sourced. Earwig didn't really apply since most of the sources are newspaper clippings but the spot checks I did looked good. Hook is interested and citations are used in the article. The only question I have here is whether the hook fact (which is included in the lead) should be more explicitly repeated in the body of the article; the article mentions that his records included "37 [touchdowns] including post-season games", but a more explicit mention of his 222 total points and the "college football scoring record". Other than that, I don't see any issues. QPQ is needed.
