Don't do that. It needlessly removes clicks from the pages being promoted by the DYK. If people want to know more about hanksite (let alone Cleveland), they can click through to the new article and work from there. — LlywelynII 13:00, 28 August 2018 (UTC)

I like ALT0 and ALT2 the most of the options available. Most of the hook elements have citations, but some don't. Do any of the sources cover the sailing to India or painting houses in Cleveland? There's no inline citation for either event in the article.

::* Great. If you weren't aware, a source at the end of a paragraph etc. includes everything before it. Per policy, we're supposed to prefer that style rather than put citations after every single sentence, although you're welcome to duplicate the citations further if you think it necessary for people coming into the article. — LlywelynII 13:00, 28 August 2018 (UTC)

  • {{ping|Raymie}} The nominator hasn't edited since September. I understand their comments above, but per WP:DYK hook facts need to be directly cited as well and that "a citation at the end of the paragraph" is not enough (yes personally I don't understand why either, but rules are rules). Do you have any more objections to the article? I would have marked this for closure, but the issue appears to be easily solvable at this point.
