Certain types of sources have specific guidelines:

{{Strong|Self-published}} or social media sources are generally not reliable unless the author is a recognized expert, and cannot be used in articles about living people unless written by the subject about themselves.
{{strong|User generated}} content is largely unacceptable.
{{strong|Bias}} is not a reason in itself for a source to be unreliable, but may require in-text attribution.
{{strong|Medical}} sources may be held to a different standard than others in relation to biomedical information.
