Template:R to portal namespace/doc

This redirect category (rcat) template sorts redirects into one of two categories:

1. {{Cat|Redirects to portal namespace}} – for PNRs and CNRs, or
2. {{Cat|Redirects to portals}} – for portal redirects to other portal pages

This rcat also populates the following:

• {{Cat|Unprintworthy redirects}} – redirects from the main-article namespace (mainspace)
• In 2003, efforts were begun to support the Wikimedia Foundation's goal of increasing access and availability of Wikipedia articles in {{diff|Wikipedia:Pushing to 1.0||1319195|printed versions}}. Mainspace redirects that target pages in the portal namespace are not suitable for a printed version. In other words they are unprintworthy.
