Template:Uw-selfinfo/doc

This template should be used by Oversighters (it refers to suppression) when removing personal information posted by the editor in question.

:{{tlsc|Uw-selfinfo|young=no}} removes the reference to Wikipedia:Guidance for younger editors and will swap the worried emoji for the standard information icon.

:{{tlsc|Uw-selfinfo|sig=no}} will not add your signature at the end of the notice.

:{{tlsc|Uw-selfinfo|icon=File link}} can be used to change the icon to a custom image.

:{{tlsc|Uw-selfinfo|2=Additional text}} adds text onto the end of the message instead of "Thank you, and sorry for messing about with your edits!"

This standardized template conforms to guidelines by the user warnings project. You may discuss the visual appearance of these standardized templates (e.g. the image in the top-left corner) at the user warning talk page.
Please refer to the index of message templates before using any template on user talk pages to warn a user. Applying the best template available for your purpose may help reduce confusion from the message you are sending.
Please remember to substitute the template using {{tlsc|{{#switch:{{FULLPAGENAME}}|Template:Single notice/inner|Template:Single notice=uw-preview|{{BASEPAGENAME}}}}}} rather than {{Tlc|{{#switch:{{FULLPAGENAME}}|Template:Single notice/inner|Template:Single notice=uw-preview|{{BASEPAGENAME}}}}}}.
To give greater detail to your message, you may add some additional text to the end of the template. Use "2=" to add additional information to the end of the notice.
