This template won't pull images from common.wikimedia.org -- for instance:

How about adding a parameter that tells the template which namespace to use? For instance, I adopted a User Box. That user box was listed on a page with {{tl|Tlrow}}. I updated the line listing the user box -- only to find that Tlrow doesn't work with templates in the User namespace. The new template would default such that the existing behaviour would be the default. Will (Talk - contribs) 04:48, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Userboxes/WikiProjects, etc., adds themselves to every category for which a category-adding userbox is listed, as a result of this template. Isn't there some way to short-circuit that? I don't know enough about the "esoterics" of WP templating to be sure. It kinda lame to have Wikipedia:Userboxes/WikiProjects show up in Category:WikiProject Foo members. — SMcCandlish [talk] [contrib] ツ 06:29, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

It seems this template has a problem with the {{inappropriate person}} template as displayed in Template messages/Cleanup. It blanks out the default parameter value. --MooNFisH 10:55, 30 June 2007 (UTC)

Hi, I'm not too sure if this is the right place to come, but I'm having a couple of problems here displaying nav boxes using Template:Tlrow; the template cells appear seperated from each other in the preview. Is this due to the way I'm using tlrow, or does a change need to be made to the code of tlrow to display nav boxes? Or is there a more appropriate template to use? Neither this template nor {{t|Tlrow2}} really worked for this use case, where I wanted to show a template that should always have a parameter specified. It'd be nice if the functionality of this could be expanded (perhaps merging in Tlrow2}} so that parameters could be specified (without resulting in multiple versions transcluded). Invoking {{t|Tlx}} rather than {{t|Tl}} would seem to be the way to do it. Or maybe my use case is just niche and substing out was the right move. {{u|Sdkb}} ^talk 01:07, 3 January 2024 (UTC)
