Terence Michael Shortt

Terence Michael Shortt (1910 - 1986) was a Canadian ornithologist, taxidermist, and wildlife artist born in Winnipeg, Canada and worked at the Royal Ontario Museum from 1930 to 1976 and head of the Biology Display from 1948.{{Cite web |title=Terence Michael Shortt |url=https://www.thecanadianencyclopedia.ca/en/article/terence-michael-shortt |access-date=2024-05-13 |website=www.thecanadianencyclopedia.ca |language=en}}
Shortt led more than 30 expeditions to Alaska, Mexico, the Galapagos, India and East Africa.
