Tethya samaaii, also known as the red golf ball sponge, is a species of sea sponge belonging to the family Tethyidae.{{cite web |url=http://www.marinespecies.org/aphia.php?p=taxdetails&id=234248 |title=WoRMS - World Register of Marine Species - Tethya rubra Samaai & Gibbons, 2005 |website=www.marinespecies.org |access-date=14 November 2010}} It is spherical in shape and grows to about 6 cm in diameter.
