Textecution
Textecution is an application developed for the T-Mobile G1 Google phone that restricts the user's ability to text message while driving. It is estimated that 46% of teens text message while driving, a potentially dangerous behavior.{{cite news |newspaper=The Albuquerque Tribune |url=http://www.abqtrib.com/news/2007/jul/11/aaa-study-46-percent-teens-text-while-driving/ |title=AAA study: 46 percent of teens text while driving |first=Phil |last=Parker

How It Works
A GPS fix determines when the phone is traveling higher than 10 mph and Textecution shuts down the texting abilities. If a user is not driving, he or she can request permission to turn texting on. The parent can allow for the texting to be enabled in this case.{{cite news |newspaper=Florida Times-Union |url=http://jacksonville.com/business/2008-12-29/product_tries_to_brake_texting |title=Product tries to brake texting |date=29 December 2008 |department=Business}}
