Gameplay
That's You!, as with all titles on Sony's PlayLink range, allows 2-6 players to use their phones and tablet devices as controllers via a companion app. This connects to the PlayStation 4 through the host Wi-Fi network.{{Cite web|url=https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/explore/ps4/games/playlink/|title=PlayLink|website=Playstation|language=en-GB|access-date=2018-09-14|archive-date=2018-09-11|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20180911151024/https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/explore/ps4/games/playlink/|url-status=live}}
That's You is hosted by a southern American narrator, who takes the group through a succession of themed social situations. These ask the players questions and set them challenges to find out how well they know one another.{{Cite news|url=https://recombu.com/digital/article/thats-you-review-ps4-playlink|title=That's You! During the game's set-up players are asked to choose a playing card based on Jungian archetypes.{{Cite web|url=https://store.playstation.com/en-gb/grid/EP9000-CUSA02009_00-1705101158TYM1E1/1?relationship=avatars|title=That's You!|website=PlayStation™Store|language=en-GB|access-date=2018-09-14|archive-date=2018-09-20|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20180920201555/https://store.playstation.com/en-gb/grid/EP9000-CUSA02009_00-1705101158TYM1E1/1?relationship=avatars|url-status=live}} and take a selfie, to which numerous filters can be applied.{{Citation|last=Next Gen Base|title=That's You! - PS4 Gameplay|date=2017-07-04|url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fia_GSOx2Q&t=52|access-date=2018-09-14}} The selfies can be retaken at any point and form an integral part of the gameplay.
To score, players must vote on who they think best answers the question through secret ballots on their phones. As the questions are subjective and there is no correct answer, points are awarded by voting consensus, with the scores increasing relative to the number of players in agreement.{{Cite news|url=http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2017/07/14/thats-you-review-ps4-playstation-lifestyle/#/slide/1|title=Thats You Review (PS4) - PlayStation LifeStyle|date=2017-07-14|work=PlayStation LifeStyle|access-date=2018-09-14|language=en-US|archive-date=2018-09-16|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20180916172552/http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2017/07/14/thats-you-review-ps4-playstation-lifestyle/#/slide/1|url-status=live}} The game then elaborates by focusing on a selected individual and getting the players to draw, write, and perform challenges based on their knowledge of them. These rounds are similarly scored by consensus.

The That’s You! app features a standalone multiplayer Pass It On game, similar to the Final Game, in which a player is asked to take a selfie and embellish it using the app’s art tools, according to a set challenge. After 10 seconds they are prompted to hand the device over to another player to further embellish or undermine. The device is exchanged until the picture is considered complete.{{Cite web|url=https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.playstation.iwyk&hl=en|title=That's You! - Apps on Google Play|website=play.google.com|language=en|access-date=2018-09-14|archive-date=2019-04-03|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20190403191115/https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.playstation.iwyk&hl=en|url-status=live}}
