Reception

The film was poorly received. It "unavoidably lacks complexity in its treatment of contexts, still it is singular in registering the intensive activity of the militia movement in the 1990s United States", noted a comment on its political dimension.{{Cite book |url=https://books.google.com/books?id=4GkUEQAAQBAJ&dq=The+Bad+Pack&pg=PA92 |title=No Single Trajectory: Transnational and Transmedia Explorations of the American West |date=2024-07-15 |publisher=BRILL |isbn=978-90-04-70444-2 |language=en}}
