The Dardanelles (band)

History
The Dardanelles formed in 2005,[http://theindependent.ca/2011/12/07/the-dardanelles-the-eastern-light/The Dardanelles | The Eastern Light"]. The Independent, Dec 7, 2011, review by Ryan Belbin and released their self-titled debut album in 2009. They received a nomination for Best Instrumental Album at the 2010 East Coast Music Awards."Joel Plaskett earns eight 2010 East Coast Music Awards nominations". Canadian Press, December 2, 2009. Their second album, The Eastern Light, followed in 2011, and received two nominations for Group Recording of the Year and Roots/Traditional Group Recording of the Year at the 2013 East Coast Music Awards."A list of East Coast Music Award nominees for 2013". Canadian Press, January 15, 2013. The band released their third album, In the Spring, That's the Time, in late 2020.
