On May 7, 2015, BTS announced a full-scale world tour extension, titled 2015 BTS Live Trilogy Episode II: The Red Bullet, starting June 6 at the Mega Star Arena in Malaysia followed by July dates in Australia and the United States.{{Cite news|url=http://star.mt.co.kr/stview.php?no=2015050709152035393&outlink=1&ref=https%3A%2F%2Fsearch.naver.com|title=방탄소년단, 말레이·호주·미국서 투어 개최 '글로벌돌'|last=Yoon|first=Seong-yeol|date=May 7, 2015|work=Star News|access-date=May 27, 2019|language=ko}}

= Reception =

Shows in Dallas, Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York City were all sold out in the matter of minutes. BTS performed for over 12,500 fans for the US leg alone. The two concerts in Melbourne and Sydney were also sold out,{{cite web|url=http://www.theaureview.com/asia/reviews/bts-live-trilogy-ep2-the-red-bullet-second-half-the-roundhouse-sydney-10-07-15|title=BTS Live Trilogy EP2: THE RED BULLET "Second Half" – The Roundhouse, Sydney (10.07.15)|author=Kat Czornij|date=July 11, 2015|publisher=theaureview|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20150715004013/http://www.theaureview.com/asia/reviews/bts-live-trilogy-ep2-the-red-bullet-second-half-the-roundhouse-sydney-10-07-15|archive-date=July 15, 2015|accessdate=August 10, 2015}} despite the fact that the cities were located in a place that traditionally did not experience that level of success when it comes to selling out venues for K-pop acts. In Brazil, similar success happened. The original venue would have a maximum capacity of 2,000 people, however due to high demand the promoters transferred the concert to a venue with more than twice the capacity.{{Cite news|url=https://www1.folha.uol.com.br/ilustrada/2015/07/1663188-fas-acampam-por-um-mes-a-espera-de-show-de-boy-band-sul-coreana-em-sp.shtml|archive-url=https://archive.today/20180907145033/https://www1.folha.uol.com.br/ilustrada/2015/07/1663188-fas-acampam-por-um-mes-a-espera-de-show-de-boy-band-sul-coreana-em-sp.shtml|url-status=dead|archive-date=September 7, 2018|title=Fãs acampam por um mês à espera de show de boy-band sul-coreana em SP…|date=September 7, 2018|work=archive.is|accessdate=September 7, 2018}}

According to Billboard, BTS made their concert memorable with their outstanding performances.{{cite magazine|title= BTS Impress With Style... and Freestyle Performances at Curtailed New York Debut: Live Review|url=http://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/k-town/6634767/bts-the-red-bullet-new-york-live-review|magazine=Billboard|accessdate=August 9, 2015}}

{{Quote| "A staple of K-pop concerts is the meticulously rehearsed choreography and CD-quality vocals prepared for every performance of the night. For their New York City debut, BTS did that, of course, but also showed a more relaxed and freer side of themselves that made the show that much more memorable -- even with an abrupt finish."|Jeff Benjamin of Billboard}}
