The Roses is an upcoming satirical black comedy drama film directed by Jay Roach and written by Tony McNamara. The film is based on the 1981 novel by Warren Adler, and a remake of the 1989 film. The film stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Olivia Colman, Andy Samberg, Allison Janney, Belinda Bromilow, Sunita Mani, Ncuti Gatwa, Jamie Demetriou, Zoë Chao, and Kate McKinnon.

Premise
Life seems easy for picture-perfect couple Ivy (Olivia Colman) and Theo (Benedict Cumberbatch): successful careers, a loving marriage, great kids.
