The group's style has been described as "psyche-garage", with a genre defying sound that marries the grit of '90s grunge with a melodic, retro streak echoing the classic rock influence of the '60s and '70s.{{Cite web |last=Vozick-Levinson |first=Stephen Thomas Erlewine, Christian Hoard, Joseph Hudak, Simon |date=2025-03-13 |title=The Best of SXSW Day Two: Billy Woods, Jack's Mannequin, Man/Woman/Chainsaw, and More |url=https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-live-reviews/sxsw-day-two-billy-woods-jacks-mannequin-billianne-1235295414/ |access-date=2025-03-31 |website=Rolling Stone |language=en-US}}{{Cite web |last=Zanes |first=Anna |title=6 rising artists to know this month |url=https://www.altpress.com/rising-bands-artists-to-know-february-2024/ |access-date=2025-03-31 |website=Alternative Press Magazine |language=en-US}}{{Cite web |date=2024-04-01 |title=Editor's Picks: Week of April 1 |url=https://www.milwaukeemag.com/the-best-things-to-do-this-week-according-to-our-editors-april-1/ |access-date=2025-03-31 |website=Milwaukee Magazine |language=en-US}}
