Thomas Hart Clay (September 22, 1803 – March 18, 1871) was the U.S. ambassador to Honduras and Nicaragua.{{cite web|title=Thomas Hart Clay (1803–1871)|url=https://history.state.gov/departmenthistory/people/clay-thomas-hart|website=U.S. Department of State, Office of the Historian|accessdate=22 January 2016}} He was a son of Henry Clay.
