The Three Linguistic Spaces{{cite web|url=http://www.francophonie.org/IMG/pdf/messages_tel.pdf |format=PDF |title=Mensaje de los Tres espacios lingüísticos (TEL) con motivo de la jornada europea de las lenguas |date=26 September 2013 |website=Francophonie.org |accessdate=2016-12-22 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20160224085459/http://www.francophonie.org/IMG/pdf/messages_tel.pdf |archive-date=24 February 2016 |url-status=dead }} (Tres Espacios Lingüísticos in Spanish, Trois Espaces linguistiques in French, Três Espaços Linguísticos in Portuguese, acronym: TEL) is a structure for cooperation between the Francophone, or French-speaking world, the Hispanophone or Spanish-speaking world, and the Lusophone, or Portuguese-speaking world. It is led by the Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI), the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP) and the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF).{{cite web|url=http://www.oei.es/noticias/spip.php?article15287|title=Reunión Tres Espacios Lingüísticos|work=oei.es|accessdate=17 February 2016}} The Francophone space is the most populous space with a population of 450 million people and also the largest space at over {{convert|20,000,000|km2|abbr=on}}. The Hispanophone space is the richest space by GDP nominal at nearly $5 trillion, slightly ahead of the Francophone space.
