Thumak Chalat Ram Chandra

{{Short description|Prayer composed by Tulasīdāsa}}{{Hinduism}}

Thumak Chalat Ram Chandra is a bhajan (Hindu devotional song) written in the 16th century by the poet Goswami Tulsidas. The bhajan glorifies Shri Rama and his characteristics during the childhood.{{Cite book|title=Bhajanika I|first=Divya|last=Nandyala|publisher=Lulu.com|year=2013|page=18|isbn=9781304013484|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=M78jBgAAQBAJ&q=thumak+chalat+ramchandra&pg=PA18}} Shri Tulsidasji describes Lord Rama's eyes, ears, and ornaments. He wants to compare Lord Rama's face with worldly wonders but couldn't find anything worthy enough so decides that the only thing comparable to Rama's face is Lord Rama's face itself.{{cite web|url=https://www.india.com/festivals-events/dussehra-2017-best-devotional-songs-and-bhajans-to-pray-to-lord-rama-this-navratri-2499310/|title=Dussehra 2017: Best Devotional Songs and Bhajans to Pray to Lord Rama This Navratri|website=India.com|date=September 26, 2017|accessdate=June 19, 2020}}{{cite web|url=https://zeenews.india.com/spirituality/tulsidas-jayanti-know-the-lord-rama-bhakt-better-1649954.html|title=Tulsidas Jayanti: Know the Lord Rama 'bhakt' better!|website=Zee News|date=July 30, 2017|accessdate=June 19, 2020}}{{cite web|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=E3_mDwAAQBAJ|title=The Indian Listener: Vol. XIV. Lyrics

रघुवर छबि के समान रघुवर छबि बनियाँ॥}}
