In 1977, he produced and directed the bilingual Chandamarutha in Kannada, and English. Personal life

Pattabhirama Reddy was born in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh into a Telugu speaking family. He studied at Shantiniketan, Calcutta University and Columbia University.
