Tim Mei Avenue
Tim Mei Avenue ({{zh|first=j|c=添美道|j=tim1 mei5 dou6|p=Tiānměi Dào}}) is a street in Admiralty, Hong Kong.
The street is built on land reclaimed as part of the Central Reclamation Phase II,Lands Department: [http://www.landsd.gov.hk/en/stt/2001q1.htm "Tender Result Records"]. Tim Mei Avenue connects Harcourt Road and Lung Wo Road (龍和道). Civic Square
Civic Square, whose access is from Tim Mei Avenue, was conceived as public open space accessible to all. The square was however closed off in July 2014 after protesters opposed to the creation of new towns in certain parts of the New Territories gathered in the square and stormed into the Legislative Council (LegCo) complex from there.[http://www.thestandard.com.hk/news_detail.asp?pp_cat=30&art_id=149919&sid=43069145&con_type=1 "How Civic Square has become less than friendly"].
