Major-General Timothy Nicholas Tyler CB is a former Quartermaster-General to the Forces.

Military career

Tim Tyler was commissioned into the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers in 1972.{{London Gazette|issue=45809|supp=y|page=12513|date=24 October 1972}}

In 2004 he was appointed Deputy Adjutant-General{{London Gazette|issue=57297|supp=y|page=6504|date=25 May 2004}} and in 2006 he was appointed Director-General Logistics (Land) and then Director-General Land Equipment as well as Quartermaster-General to the Forces.{{London Gazette|issue=57881|supp=y|page=989|date=24 January 2006}} He retired in 2008.{{London Gazette|issue=58912|supp=y|page=19636|date=16 December 2008}}
