Titanosuchidae is an extinct family of dinocephalians known only from the middle Permian Tapinocephalus Assemblage Zone of South Africa.{{cite journal|last1=Jirah|first1=Sifelani|last2=Rubidge|first2=Bruce S.|last3=Abdala|first3=Fernando|date=11 June 2024|title=Cranial morphology of Jonkeria truculenta (Therapsida, Dinocephalia) and a taxonomic reassessment of the family Titanosuchidae|journal=Palaeontologia africana|volume=58|pages=1-27|url=https://wiredspace.wits.ac.za/items/875e6463-8c48-4a3e-9d8f-a7134e627354|issn=2410-4418}}

The titanosuchids were large, omnivorous{{cite journal|last1=Bhat|first1=Mohd Shafi|last2=Shelton|first2=Christen D.|last3=Chinsamy|first3=Anusuya|date=15 October 2021|title=Bone histology of the graviportal dinocephalian therapsid Jonkeria from the middle Permian Tapinocephalus Assemblage Zone of the Karoo Basin of South Africa|journal=Acta Palaeontologica Polonica|volume=66|issue=4|pages=705-721|doi=10.4202/app.00872.2021|url=https://www.app.pan.pl/archive/published/app66/app008722021.pdf}} or herbivorous animals. As with other tapinocephalians, they had thickened skulls that may have been used in head-butting, but to a lesser degree than in Tapinocephalidae or Anteosauridae. They had large canine teeth, strong incisors with a "talon and heel" morphology, and leaf-shaped postcanine teeth. Two titanosuchid genera are recognized as valid: Jonkeria and Titanosuchus; they can be distinguished on the basis of limb proportions.
