Early life and education

In early 2013, Boehly led a deal between Time Warner Cable and the Los Angeles Dodgers of Major League Baseball to create SportsNet LA, a regional network to broadcast all Dodgers’ games and Dodgers-related programming. In 2010, he visited Topeka, Kansas to lead Security Benefit's acquisition by Guggenheim and demutualization, before spinning it out as a part of Eldridge Industries. Boehly helped found the Boehly Center for Excellence in Finance in 2014 at William & Mary's Raymond A.
