Tonco is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Asti in the Italian region Piedmont, located about {{convert|40|km|mi}} east of Turin and about {{convert|13|km|mi|0}} north of Asti. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 895 and an area of {{convert|11.8|km2|mi2}}.All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.
Tonco borders the following municipalities: Alfiano Natta, Calliano, Castell'Alfero, Corsione, Frinco, Montiglio Monferrato, Villa San Secondo, and Villadeati.
