Business career

In August 1984, Posner Ward represented her father, Victor Posner, who was unable to attend the renaming of a street in his name by Hermitage, Pennsylvania.{{cite web|url=https://news.google.com/newspapers?id=4ZImAAAAIBAJ&sjid=bAEGAAAAIBAJ&pg=3897,2092868&dq=tracy+posner&hl=en|title=Posner Gets A Boulevard In Hermitage|date=August 23, 1984|work=Google News Archive|publisher=The Miami News|access-date=26 July 2010}} Speaking to the assembled guests and reporters, Posner Ward apologized for her father's inability to attend by saying, "My father planned to come up to the last minute; I hope you realize how hard he tried to make it. He is truly honored by this decision." She declined to speak about her father's legal case in Florida.

In 1989, Victor Posner sent Tracy to take over Burt Ward's publicly traded fund-raising company.{{cite news|url=http://archives.cnn.com/2002/SHOWBIZ/TV/09/17/people.watn.ward/|title=Former Caped Crusader owns visual effects company|date=September 17, 2002|work=CNN|publisher=cnn.com|access-date=26 July 2010|url-status=dead|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20080507230306/http://archives.cnn.com/2002/SHOWBIZ/TV/09/17/people.watn.ward/|archive-date=7 May 2008}}

In 1994, Posner Ward sued her half brother Steven Posner, claiming he let one of her smaller trust funds, worth $2 million, dwindle to $100,000 with undocumented loans and other transactions of little or no value.{{cite web|title=Microsoft Word - 3D03-2989.3op..doc|url=http://www.3dca.flcourts.org/opinions/3d03-2989.pdf|url-status=live|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20110726061158/http://www.3dca.flcourts.org/opinions/3d03-2989.pdf|archive-date=26 July 2011|access-date=2010-07-11}}{{cite web|url=http://www.familyfight.com/media/miami_herald_020414b.htm |title=Planning To Avoid It |publisher=The Family Fight |access-date=2010-07-11}}{{cite web|url=https://news.google.com/newspapers?id=UOwNAAAAIBAJ&sjid=C3ADAAAAIBAJ&pg=2534,3602363&dq=tracy+posner&hl=en|title=Posner Siblings in Trust Dispute|date=July 23, 1994|work=Google News Archive|publisher=Pittsburgh Post-Gazette|access-date=26 July 2010}} In the lawsuit initiated by Tracy Ward,{{cite news|url=https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1994-07-25-fi-19617-story.html|title=Other News|date=July 25, 1994|work=Los Angeles Times|access-date=26 July 2010}} she alleged in Dade Circuit Court that the trust should have passed to her at age 21 and been kept secret until 1993. Posner Ward was involved in lawsuits until April 2015 which entangled the estate of her late father, industrialist Victor Posner, who changed his will shortly before he died in 2002, and removed his children and grandchildren as heirs to his estate. A lawsuit by Troy Posner, not including Tracy, was eventually settled for $14 million.{{cite news|last=Bralove|first=Alisa|date=October 20, 2003|title=Baltimore lawyers reach $14M settlement in Victor Posner's contested|work=FindArticles|publisher=Daily Record (Maryland)|url=http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qn4183/is_20031020/ai_n10058231/|url-status=live|access-date=26 July 2010|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20051215072916/http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qn4183/is_20031020/ai_n10058231/|archive-date=15 December 2005}}
