Trent Grimsey (born 4 May 1988) is an Australian retired long distance swimmer who set a new record time for crossing the English Channel in 2012. Two years later he finished fifth in the 25 km at the 2011 World Aquatics Championships in Shanghai.

Grimsey participated in several freestyle events in the pool at the 2006 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
