The Triumph Tiger Explorer (marketed as Triumph Tiger 1200 since November 2017) is a dual-sport motorcycle that was announced by British company Triumph Motorcycles at the EICMA show in November 2011. There are currently two model series available; the Tiger 1200 GT and Tiger 1200 Rally. Both models have similar specifications, but the Rally series comes with a set-up that is geared toward off-road riding with spoked wheels instead of the aluminium cast wheels found on the GT series.{{cite web | url= https://www.triumphmotorcycles.com/motorcycles/adventure/tiger-1200/models | publisher= Triumph Motorcycles Ltd | title= Triumph 1200 Models| accessdate= 11 August 2022 | url-status= live| archiveurl= https://web.archive.org/web/20220130104929/https://www.triumphmotorcycles.com/motorcycles/adventure/tiger-1200/models | archivedate= 30 January 2022 | df= dmy-all }}

They are both powered by a {{convert|1215|cc|cuin|abbr=on}} straight-three engine with four valves per cylinder and a six-speed gearbox with shaft final drive.{{cite web| url= https://www.triumphmotorcycles.com/motorcycles/adventure/tiger-1200/specification| title= Tiger 1200 Specifications | accessdate= 11 August 2022 | archiveurl= https://web.archive.org/web/20220314124313/https://www.triumphmotorcycles.com/motorcycles/adventure/tiger-1200/specification | archivedate= 14 March 2022 | df= dmy-all }}
