Trontano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola in the Italian Piedmont region, located about {{convert|120|km|mi}} northeast of Turin and about {{convert|25|km|mi}} northwest of Verbania. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,684 and an area of {{convert|58.0|km2|mi2}}.All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.
