Tropidaster is an extinct genus of sea stars that lived in the Early Jurassic. It is the only genus in the family Tropidasteridae.{{cite WoRMS |author=Mah, C.L. |year=2023 |title=Tropidasteridae Wright, 1880 |id=1519386 |access-date=2 December 2023 |db=Asteroidea}} Its fossils have been found in Europe.
