Trpimir II was an alleged King of Croatia from 928 to 935.{{harvnb|Dzino|2010|p=219}} He was presumably from the Trpimirović dynasty, however, he's not mentioned in historical sources, being a historiographical invention.{{cite journal |last=Komatina |first=Predrag |date=2010 |title=O hronologiji hrvatskih vladara u 31. glavi spisa De administrando imperio |url=https://hrcak.srce.hr/63326 |journal=Radovi |volume=42 |issue=1 |language=hr |location=Zagreb |publisher=Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb |pages=83–105}}{{cite journal |last=Lončar |first=Milenko |date=2010 |title=Vremenski nesklad između odlomaka 31. poglavlja De administrando imperio |url=https://hrcak.srce.hr/clanak/94921 |journal=Radovi |volume=42 |issue=1 |language=hr |location=Zagreb |publisher=Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb |pages=107–116}}{{cite journal |last=Đaković |first=Luka |date=2023 |title=Kronologija hrvatskih vladara u 9. i 10. stoljeću |url=https://hrcak.srce.hr/clanak/458067 |journal=Starohrvatska prosvjeta |volume=III |issue=50 |language=hr |location=Zagreb |publisher=Museum of Croatian Archaeological Monuments |pages=51–99}}

In the old chronology (per Ferdo Šišić), Trpimir II would be the son of Duke Muncimir and younger brother of King Tomislav.{{harvnb|Fine (Jr) |2006|pp=563–564}} De Administrando Imperio mentions that in the time of Terpimer (whose identity is disputed to be Trpimir I from the 9th century, or Trpimir II), the Duchy or Kingdom of Croatia had a significant merchant fleet that traded across the entire Adriatic Sea. The mentioned Terpimer was succeeded by his son Krešimir I.{{cite book |first=Neven |last=Budak |author-link=Neven Budak |year=2018 |title=Hrvatska povijest od 550. do 1100. |trans-title=Croatian history from 550 until 1100 |url=http://www.leykam-international.hr/publikacija.php?id=167 |publisher=Leykam international |page=244–245 |isbn=978-953-340-061-7}}
