It is one of Barnet's 'Premier Parks'.[http://www.barnet.gov.uk/index/environment-planning/parks-and-open-spaces/premier-parks.htm London Borough of Barnet, Premier Parks] {{Webarchive|url=https://web.archive.org/web/20101225220437/http://www.barnet.gov.uk/index/environment-planning/parks-and-open-spaces/premier-parks.htm |date=2010-12-25 }}

The park is a large grassed area with scattered mature trees. The site is mainly devoted to a nine-hole 'pitch and pay' golf course, and it also has a cricket pitch, a tennis court, a basketball shooting area, children's playgrounds and a car park.[http://www.barnet.gov.uk/index/environment-planning/parks-and-open-spaces/premier-parks/tudor-sports-ground.htm London Borough of Barnet, Tudor Sports Ground] {{Webarchive|url=https://web.archive.org/web/20120316222045/http://www.barnet.gov.uk/index/environment-planning/parks-and-open-spaces/premier-parks/tudor-sports-ground.htm |date=2012-03-16 }}

The park is adjacent to Monken Hadley Common on its northern side, and a footpath next to the railway on its eastern edge runs between Monken Hadley Common and New Barnet railway station.
