Turka (Turuka) or Curama (Cuuramã, Tchourama, Tyurama), is a Gur language which is spoken by the Turka people in southwest Burkina Faso. Its closest linguistic relative is the Cerma language: however, they are not mutually intelligible. Due to economic, religious and educational influence, many Turka people also speak Arabic and Jula.{{cite journal |last1=Berthelette |first1=John |title=Sociolinguistic survey report for the Tyurama (Turka) language |journal=Journal of Language Survey Reports |date=2002 |issue=8 |url=https://www.sil.org/resources/archives/8995 |access-date=24 February 2022}}
