The Twin Candlestick Islets ({{zh|t=蠋臺雙嶼|s=蠋台双屿|first=t|p=Zhútái Shuāng Yǔ}}) are islets in Jinshan District, New Taipei, Taiwan.

History

The islets were once part of Jinshan Cape. Due to the continuous movement of tectonics plates and coastal erosion, they separated from the island of Taiwan. Initially they were a single rock arch, but the top collapsed thus made them look like two candlesticks.{{cite web|url=https://www.rtaiwanr.com/north-coast/twin-candlestick-islets|title=Twin Candlestick Islets|website=roundTAIWANround|accessdate=19 September 2017}}{{cite web|url=https://www.northguan-nsa.gov.tw/user/Article.aspx?Lang=2&SNo=04002744|title=Twin Candlestick Islets|website=North Coast & Guanyinshan National Scenic Area|accessdate=19 September 2017}}{{cite web|url=http://roundtaiwanround.tumblr.com/post/27680944091/twin-candlestick-islets|title=Twin Candlestick Islets|website=roundTAIWANround|accessdate=19 September 2017}}
