The UAE League Cup ({{langx|ar|كأس رابطة المحترفين الإماراتية}}) is a knockout tournament for clubs in the UAE Pro-League. The first edition of the tournament was played in the 2008–2009 season.{{cite web |title=كأس اتصالات المولود الجديد يبصر النور اليوم |url=https://www.alkhaleej.ae/2008-10-10/كأس-اتصالات-المولود-الجديد-يبصر-النور-اليوم/رياضة-محلي/رياضة |website=صحيفة الخليج |language=ar}}
In the 2008–09 season, UAE League Cup replaced the UAE Federation Cup and became a second tier tournament, initially under the name of Etisalat Cup in 2008–2013 and Arabian Gulf Cup in 2013–2021 for sponsorship reasons.{{cite web|url=http://www.uaeproleague.ae/en/news/ag-league-title-sponsor-pc.html|title=Arabian Gulf Development introduced as new Title Sponsor for the Arabian Gulf League - News - UAE Pro League Committee|first=XS|last=Studios|website=www.uaeproleague.ae}}{{cite web|url=https://www.khaleejtimes.com/sport/local/new-identity-released-for-arabian-gulf-cup-final|title=New identity released for Arabian Gulf Cup final|website=www.khaleejtimes.com}}{{cite web|url=http://beta.proleague.ae/en/news/arabian-gulf-development-renews-league-sponsorship.html|title=Arabian Gulf Development renews League sponsorship - News - UAE Pro League Committee|first=XS|last=Studios|website=beta.proleague.ae}}
