Unidad Editorial, S.A. is a Spanish media company. It owns the newspapers {{Lang|es|El Mundo}}, {{Lang|es|Expansión}} and {{Lang|es|Marca}}. It is primarily owned by the Italian holding RCS MediaGroup.
History
Unidad Editorial emerged in 2007 after the merger of two media companies, namely Unedisa (controlled by Italian media conglomerate RCS MediaGroup) and {{ill|Grupo Recoletos|es}}.{{cite journal|author1=Laura Chaqués Bonafont|author2=Frank R. Grupo Recoletos was the publisher of the newspapers Marca, {{Lang|es|Expansión}} and the magazines Actualidad Económica and Telva.{{Sfn|García Santamaría|Pérez Serrano|Alcolea Díaz|2016|p=137}} Unedisa was the publisher of {{Lang|es|El Mundo}}, founded in 1989 by Pedro J. Ramírez. Following the leaving of Pedro J.
