The Union of Democratic Forces of Guinea ({{langx|fr|Union des forces démocratiques de Guinée}}, UFDG) is a social-liberal{{Cite web|last=Freland|first=François-Xavier|date=2017-03-08|title=Guinée – Cellou Dalein Diallo : « À part moi, personne ne sera candidat en 2020 ! »|url=https://www.jeuneafrique.com/mag/407135/politique/guinee-cellou-dalein-diallo-a-part-moi-personne-ne-sera-candidat-en-2020/|access-date=2020-10-19|website=Jeune Afrique|language=fr}} political party in Guinea. It should not be confused with the liberal Union of Republican Forces which has a similar name.
The party was founded in 1991 by a number of opposition parties and groups. In October 2002 it was joined by a section of Union for Progress and Renewal under the leadership of Bâ Mamadou, which unlike the majority of their party wanted to boycott the 2002 parliamentary election. Mamadou Ba was subsequently elected as President of UFDG. The party affiliated to the Republican Front for Democratic Change alliance, which intended to field a candidate in the 2003 presidential election.Africa South of the Sahara 2004, p.508
Starting in 2007, the presidency of the party has been held by Cellou Dalein Diallo. Diallo stood for the party in the 2010 presidential election, topping the poll in the first round before narrowly losing to Alpha Conde in the second round.
On 25 July 2015, Diallo was named as the UFDG's candidate for the 2015 presidential election at a party congress; he was also re-elected to lead the party for another five years.[https://news.yahoo.com/guineas-former-pm-run-presidency-october-203000084.html "Guinea's former PM to run for presidency in October"], AFP, 25 July 2015.
