History
The United Arab Emirates Volleyball Association has been recognised by FIVB from 1976 and is a member of the Asian Volleyball Confederation{{cite web|url=https://asianvolleyball.net/new/affiliated-national-federations-2/|title=UAEVBA in AVC |publisher=AVC |access-date=9 July 2024}} and the Arab Volleyball Association.
The Federation organizes all domestic volleyball competitions for men{{cite web|url=https://volleybox.net/|title=Emirati League |publisher=volleybox |access-date=9 July 2024}} and women{{cite web|url=https://wam.ae/ar/article/b1ubtdb-الشارقة-الرياضي-للمرأة-يفوز-على-الوصل-بدوري-الكرة|title=UAE Women League|publisher=Wam.ae|access-date=9 July 2024}} as well it rules over Beach Volleyball activities in the country for both genders.
