Urothemis thomasi, the Omani dragonfly, is a species of dragonfly in the family Libellulidae. It is found in Oman and possibly Somalia, and was recently discovered in the United Arab Emirates.{{cite web|url=http://www.aljazeera.com/news/middleeast/2014/02/new-discovery-amid-uae-dying-ecosystem-20142189655952414.html|author=Michael Dickison|title=New discovery amid UAE's dying ecosystem|publisher=Al Jazeera|accessdate=1 June 2014}} Its natural habitats are rivers and freshwater springs. It was last known to be threatened by habitat loss as of 2014.
