| about my work = I conduct research and teach classes about topics like Wikipedia and other kinds of large-scale online collaboration. My current undergraduate class, [https://wiki.communitydata.science/Online_Communities_and_Crowds_(Spring_2025) Online Communities & Crowds], includes a Wikipedia assignments. I also participated in the Cambridge-area Wikipedia reading group during 2010-2011 and organized the [https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Research:Labs2/Hackathons/November_9th,_2013 Inaugural Chicagoland WikiResearch Hackathon] in Fall, 2013. I edit the encyclopedias and other projects intermittently.
