This how to describes some methods that can be used by experienced wikipedia users to deter new users from changing/ editing articles:

• Say that the views expressed are POV - the new user will get confused
• Say that the changes are Wikipedia:Vandalism and would be reported and the new user would go straight to hell
• Tell the user of the wikipedia policy on personal attacks
• Pick up some buzz words from banning new users how-to
• Dont forget to say thank you at the end of your, err..., threat. That gives a touch of genuineness and authority.
