I looked for a Wikipedia article on the Alternative DSM-5 Model for Personality Disorders, (AMPD) and found that it did in fact not exist; thus I decided to create it and subsequently embarked on my journey of writing it, mainly in March of 2025, although it was originally created in the preceding December. I believe that the topic is important within the realm of current-date understanding of personality disorders. I have as such also included a section, or at least a paragraph (or in the case of BPD - a wikilink...) in every article concerning one of the ten personality disorders listed in the DSM-5 standard model. Not all disorders are included in the AMPD, but they can still be diagnosed as Personality Disorder - Trait Specified. I hope that many people will find it to be a valuable contribution and a source of meaningful and useful information. The following is a list of my contributions regarding the AMPD to the PD articles, organized by DSM cluster:

• Paranoid personality disorder: § Alternative model (disorder not included in AMPD)
• Schizoid personality disorder: § Diagnostic manuals (disorder not included in AMPD; I wrote a whole section of diagnosis with regard to diagnostic manuals)
• Schizotypal personality disorder: § Alternative model

• Antisocial personality disorder: § Section III (Alternative Model of Personality Disorders) (I did not write the entire section)
• Borderline personality disorder: § DSM-5 diagnostic criteria (I did not write this section; I merely made it link to AMPD)
• Histrionic personality disorder: § Alternative model (disorder not included in AMPD)
• Narcissistic personality disorder: § Alternative model

• Avoidant personality disorder: § Alternative model
• Dependent personality disorder: § Alternative model (disorder not included in the AMPD; I didn't write all content of the section)
• Obsessive-compulsive personality disorder: § Alternative model (I vastly expanded and changed the preexisting section)

For Wikipedia archaeologists, I believe the above to be true as of the 6th of April 2025. In addition I to the above, I have wikilinked to the AMPD from all places where I could find it mentioned.
