{{Nutshell|Wikipedia has specific sourcing guidelines for biomedical information; they shouldn't be invoked for other kinds of content.}}

Sometimes an editor will try to keep unwanted content out of an article by erroneously claiming that the sourcing used is "not WP:MEDRS".

While Wikipedia does have the WP:MEDRS sourcing guideline to help write high-quality articles, these guidelines only apply to certain kinds of content. This is explained in more detail at WP:Biomedical information.

Insisting that WP:MEDRS applies to non-biomedical content is disruptive and does not help to build an encyclopedia.
