Hello, my name is Brian Tjoe-Nij. I was born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I live there too.
I will be here and try to contribute to Wikipedia, in meaningful and perhaps a slightly bellicose way. I do this because it is very soothing to my belly rumbles. Also, late at night after a hefty meal, when I crave raisins with milk, I'll just go to Wikipedia and it'll go away.

While I am convinced that, like all Nordic Europeans, my English language skills are excellent and in many cases exceeds those of native speakers, I am not a native speaker, and the exact emotional value of some words sometimes eludes me. I don't presume to have those skills on an academic level.
