I hold a PhD degree in Animal Ecology from Stockholm University.

I am interested in the nomenclature, taxonomy, ecology, evolutionary biology, morphology and phylogenetic systematics of Nymphalidae butterflies and Geometridae moths.

Currently I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Laboratory of Genetics of the University of Turku, Finland.
