Teacher-Social Change Agents
File:Teacher social change.png
Teacher-Social Change Agents who serve as catalysts for change in the classroom, school community, and society are agents. In many organizations, teachers are viewed as the persons who can contribute to making positive changes in people's lives (Praveen (2015a). They are regarded as natural leaders who can offer guidance on many community affairs when viewed in the context of their actual interactions with families, communities, and children (Bourn, 2016). Leadership is one of the skills that agents of change possess. With leadership skills, they can direct, empower, facilitate, and evaluate the work of others, as well as inspire and encourage their efforts for the greater good. 2018 (Schulz).
