Cedric Javon Cormier (born April 2, 1979) is an American college football coach, currently serving as the Wide Receivers Coach and Passing Game Coordinator at New Mexico State University. A former standout wide receiver, Cormier has coached numerous all-conference and NFL-bound athletes across his two-decade career.
Early Life
Cormier was born in Houston, Texas. He played high school football at North Shore High School, where he was named the 1996 Houston Touchdown Club Offensive Player of the Year and the Houston Chronicle's Most Valuable Player.
College Career
Cormier played wide receiver and kick returner at the University of Colorado Boulder, where he was a member of the 2001 Big 12 Championship team. He was a four-year letter winner and two-year starter. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Ethnic Studies in 2003.

Personal Life
Cedric Cormier is the son of Freddy and Margie Cormier. He married Dr. Alicia Booker Cormier on July 7, 2024. She is a university ombuds at Baylor College of Medicine. He has two children: Deon Cormier, a wide receiver who played at McNeese State University, and Danielle Cormier, a student at Louisiana State University.
