Thunder Over Michigan is a annual air show hosted at Willow Run Airport every summer. The airshow primarily showcases military aviation with demonstrations from the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds{{Cite web |title=Performers {{!}} Thunder Over Michigan Air Show |url=https://thunderovermichigan.org/attractions/performers/ |access-date=2025-05-12 |language=en-US}}, as well as demonstrations from current and retired US Air Force, Army, and Navy aircraft, such as the F-35 Lightning II, F-22 Raptor, F-15 Eagle, F/A-18 Hornet, F-16 Fighting Falcon, F-14 Tomcat, A-10 Thunderbolt II, TBF Avenger, C-130, KC-135, and a MiG-23 Flogger. Helicopters that have flown at Thunder Over Michigan include the UH-60 Blackhawk, SH-60 Seahawk, AH-1 Cobra, UH-1H Huey, AH-64 Apache, and a MH-65E Dolphin.

Aerobatic Performers have included Nathan Hammond, Matt Yunkin, Greg Shelton, Sean Tucker, and Michael Goulian. The USAF Heritage Flight and the US Navy Heritage Flight have also preformed at the airshow.
