Writing

Byrd wrote his first novel in 2021. Citing Stephen King's Rose Red as an influence, he loved the idea of a story featuring a haunted house. His second novel, When Crazy Loves You is a romantic thriller. The third novel, released in 2021, Inner Demons is his most notable work. It is a story of a fictional paramedic struggling with depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Byrd reports that he used some of his own experiences as inspiration for the book. Fear of the Ocean, Byrd's fourth novel, was a horror novel that was not approved for global distribution. In February of 2025, he released Blood Eagle, a fictional detective story featuring the character Grant Bell, a character that is set to headline an entire series of books.https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/29771578.Stephen_Byrd
