The Berre River is a river of southern France which flows in the Aude department, and into the Mediterranean Sea. It is {{convert|53|km|mi}} long.

Geography

= Course =

The river flows in the Corbières in a southeast-northwest direction. Its origin is on the Col de Mairolles, {{convert|2|km|mi}} south of the centre of the village of Quintillan, France, which it runs along; it then flows through Cascastel-des-Corbières, Villeneuve-les-Corbières, Durban-Corbières, and Portel-des-Corbières. Despite flowing into the Étang de Bages-Sigean, the Sandre states the Berre flows into the Mediterranean Sea at Port-la-Nouvelle, through the channel locally called "Grau de Port-la-Nouvelle".

= Tributaries =

The Sandre lists 26 tributaries of the Berre, the last one flowing into the river as it itself flows within the Étang de Bages-Sigean:

  • Ruisseau de Serre (2km), left bank at Quintillan;
